PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Easy to use - without any preparation time, the slide can be used to test surfaces, semi-solid materials and liquids.

Quick and convenient - always handy and reliable to use – even at last minute, e.g. when testing needs to be carried out during night shift. No special laboratory equipment is necessary

Economical - the previous time-consuming laboratory work for preparing nutrient media, producing dilution series and counting colonies is eliminated. In addition, the considerable costs of an external laboratory are saved.

Accurate and reliable - the strict standards to which Dip-Slide is produced guarantee a product of consistent excellent quality (ISO 9001).

Detection of bacteria and moulds - with Dip-Slide, bacteria, yeasts and fungi moulds can be separately detected with a single dip-slide.
Simple to use - sampling and evaluation can be carried out even by personnel who have no training in microbiology

PLEASE NOTE - Unfortunately dip slides are not vegetarian and do contain gelatin which is a meat extract.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause however this is apparently standard in the industry. We are still hoping to source an alternative to this product. We have not changed our vegetarian policy.

HOW TO USE IT

Dip-slides are easy to use. Simply swap the product you wish to test and streak it on one side of the Dip-Slide and repeat the process for the other side. Make sure to use a new swap for each side. The Dip-Slide then needs to be incubated, it is recommended to do this for between 24-120 hours. Your results should now be visible and you can compare them to the images on the user guide.

Please ensure you download a copy of the User Guide here,as it is not included as part of the order.
Dip-Slides have a maximum shelf-life of 8 months. The expiration date is marked on the product label.

The tubes should be stored unopened at room temperature (about + 20 °C) and protected from draught and light. The suggested incubation temperature is 30°C.

The slides must not be allowed to freeze.
