Aromantic's NEW Organic Emulsifier!Cold Emulsifier (Organic) (BIO)INCI: Glycerine*, Prunus amygdalus dulcis*, Citrus aurantium dulcis fruit water*, Sucrose Laurate. *Organically produced ingredients. Made with 94% organic ingredients. Approved by the Soil Association
Finally! I am so happy to introduce to you what I believe to be the world’s FIRST organic emulsifier for cosmetics! You can imagine how excited I am for you, my customers and friends, you’ll be able to mix a cream in one minute. You’ll also know that you are one of the first people in the world to use this product! You can use our Cold Emulsifier in creams, lotions, bath oils, and scrubs and no heating needed! It is a thin, clear liquid gel form. Produced in the United Kingdom. Dosage for creams and lotions: mostly used at a dosage of 6%. My hope is that I can convince the producers to use a cheaper organic vegetable oil than the organic sweet almond oil that they use and thereby reduce the future production cost of the emulsifier. ConceptCold Emulsifier (Organic) is based on a particular sugar ester, sucrose laurate, which is one of the most interesting and versatile sugar esters, but also one of the most difficult to use. By blending this product into a base with recognisable, natural ingredients, a truly functional product results. Sugar esters are made by combining sucrose with a fatty acid via an esterification reaction. There are many grades available and they are used in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. They are predominantly used as emulsifiers, although they do have other unique properties, such as being able to form stable oily gels, which emulsify on contact with water. They are extremely mild and have a long history of safe use. Sucrose laurate is suitable for use in organically certified products.

More information and tips about Aromantic’s Cold Emulsifier (Organic) from KolbjornØ As the Cold Emulsifier contains up to 50% glycerine, you don’t need to add anymore to your recipes. By using 6% of the emulsifier, you will have 3% glycerine in your cream already. Ø As this is a new emulsifier I recommend that you start out by making these recipes in smaller quantities and see what you think. You also need to undertake your own stability tests on your products before you market the products. A good way to test your products is to leave your product in a see-through, airtight container for up to 3 months in a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and see if there is any separation in the product. It works as I have tested it in products 3-4 months ago and the products are still in excellent condition but I have my own standards, methods and working conditions. Aromantic will not take responsibility for the stability of your final products. Ø Personally I would say that this is a unique chance to use an organic emulsifier. Making a very thick cream with this emulsifier can make the cream seem a little sticky due to the large amount of gel needing to be used to form a cream. Personally, I find that using this emulsifier in lotion recipes gives a nice, soft skin feeling, leaving the skin soft and supple. As is the case quite often, Aromantic customers become the pioneers for natural cosmetics raw materials and you will be one of the first in the world to use it! I sold 40 of 100ml bottles of the emulsifier at Aromantic’s Open Day in London late last year and they have been calling and calling to ask when we would stock it, so it seems it’s working well! Good Luck! Cold Emulsifer (Organic) is a liquid gel product for cold-emulsifying creams, lotions, spa products, baby products, etc. mix creams an dlotions in just 1 minute!
