Overview:

This course is ideal for beauticians, nail technicians, aromatherapists and other therapists who want to make their own cleansers and peeling products for personal and commercial use.

The emphasis of this course is to learn how to use many different types of raw materials for peeling and cleansing.

  Course Contents

  The day begins with Kolbjørn talking about different types of raw materials for peeling, cleansing and toning.

  We will be making two types of peeling creams and two types of toners. After lunch students will learn how to make two types of cleansing lotions, peeling gel and nail products.

  NOTE: Before learning how to make a product Kolbjørn will discuss the benefits of the product and demonstrate the exact utensils and raw materials required. ALL raw materials and utensils are provided and students usually work in groups of 4 per table. A printed hand-out of the recipe and technique is given to each student at the beginning of every demonstration. This enables the student to focus upon the 'hands-on' aspect of the session and ensures that each participant leaves with a complete set of notes and recipes for future reference.

  The day is completed with a question and answers session.
