A One-Day course with Karen Munkholm

Overview:

This course is designed for beauticians and others who want to make their own coloured make-up.

Making your own make-up seems the hardest thing to do but with the help of Karen Munkholm from Urtegaarden in Denmark it can be easier than you may imagine. We are delighted to welcome Karen back to London to share her skills and knowledge. We start the day with an introduction by the course leader and the students. After that we will demonstrate how to make a simple foun-dation cream

We then divide into groups and practice making a foundation cream. Karen will then demonstrate how to make a basic powder and then the group will practice what they have seen. The same procedure will apply to coloured powder. A mix of these three products makes a foundation cream. Karen will then demonstrate how to make a recipe for eyeliner before the students practice the procedure.

After lunch we will learn the secrets to making mascara, liquid lip-gloss, solid rouge and eye shadow. Demonstrations will be followed by group practical exercises.

At the end of the course there will be an opportunity for questions and answers and to give feedback.
