Course Contents:
The day begins with some theory about different ways to heal eczema using baths, fasting, herbs, compresses/poultices, creams and diet. This information is inspired by the co-operation Kolbjorn has had with Lily Johansson for 10 years, who was a health icon in Sweden. She had over 30,000 patients at her complementary hospital funded by the state and had a lot of patients coming to her with eczema all over their bodies who were treated successfully.
"I am still in
Trinidad and am starting my own handmade soaping
company using only essential oils and botanicals which
I import. So far it is going great and thanks to your
course I got on the right track which inspired me to
teach myself this art and now I have to say I am very
good at it... Thanks for changing my life Kolbjorn and I will
let you know how things progress."

The diet theory is based on the acid/alkaline balance. Kolbjorn demonstrates making a compress for eczema on one of the students. After a break Kolbjorn demonstrates how to make two types of eczema creams. All the recipes along with the methods will be handed out. Dividing students into groups of up to 4 students will make the two types of creams, one using herbs. Each person will then get two types of creams to take home to try out on themselves or clients.
After lunch students make a combined face mask and cleanser on a cream base with clay. Depending upon how many students are in the group Kolbjorn will introduce different clays such as red, yellow, pink, white and green. Each student will take home at least 3 types to try out .

After a tea break participants make eye-gels which are easy and fun to make. The last product made will be a hair conditioner.
The day is completed with a Questions & Answers session and the handing out of certificates.
NOTE: Before learning how to make a product Kolbjorn will discuss the benefits of the product and demonstrate the exact utensils and raw materials required. ALL raw materials and utensils are provided and students usually work in groups of 4 per table. A printed hand-out of the recipe and technique is given to each student at the beginning of every demonstration. This enables the student to focus upon the 'hands-on' aspect of the session and ensures that each participant leaves with a complete set of notes and recipes for future reference.
