Advanced Course - Minerals used in Make-up
A One-Day course with Cinda Phelps
Overview:
This course combines theory and practice and is designed for beginners and professionals alike. During the course students will make professional mineral make-up products that can be for your own use, sold to your therapy clients, or sold commercially to the public. All raw materials and brushes used in class are included in registration fee and students will be able to take home what they have created.
Note: this course can be attended without first having to attend any of our other courses.
Course Contents:
The course is designed for beginners and professionals and will include:
- Theory of using minerals for skin care.
- Hands-on experience on blending raw materials for color and consistency.
- Hands-on experience in making liquid, cream, and powder foundations, eye shadows, lip gloss, blush, and more.
- Demonstration on application of makeup using various techniques for camouflage, matching skin tone, and incorporating other raw materials into formula.
- All raw materials and brushes used in class are included in registration fee and students will be able to take home what they have created.
- All raw materials for making products will be offered for sale to students attending class.
Note: this course can be attended without first having to attend any of our other courses.
NOTE: Before learning how to make a product Cinda will discuss the benefits of the product and demonstrate the exact utensils and raw materials required. ALL raw materials and utensils are provided and students usually work in small groups. |
